What is Project Advisor?

Project Advisor is a set of three AI connectors: a GPT, a Microsoft 365 Copilot agent, and a custom Claude connector. It lets you talk to your Confluity Jobs, Rules and Plays from the tools you already use.

Do I need a Confluity account?

The custom Claude connector uses no authentication. Other Project Advisor tools may have their own setup.

Does it see my private project data?

Project Advisor is designed to help you read and engage with Confluity guidance. Do not enter confidential business information, client secrets, highly sensitive personal data, or information you are not authorised to share. Read the Project Advisor Privacy Policy:

Which one should I use?

Use the one you already work in. ChatGPT for quick questions, Microsoft 365 Copilot for team-facing work, Claude for project guidance. The answers come from the same place.

Is this included in the beta?

Yes. While Confluity is in beta, Project Advisor is included at no extra cost. We’ll give plenty of notice before that changes.
